Going live
A checklist for switching your program from test mode to live mode.
Work through this list before you share your first live referral link.
Checklist
- Replace
sk_test_keys withsk_live_keys on your server. - Replace the
pk_test_publishable key in the browser script. - Add live webhook endpoints and store their signing secrets.
- Match the hold period to your refund window.
- Set a review threshold and decide who checks the review queue.
- Write down how you'll pay rewards, and who records payouts.
- Update your terms to describe the referral program.
You're ready
Once the checklist is done, turn on Live mode in the dashboard header and share the program with a few customers first.
After launch
Check these numbers weekly for the first month:
- Click-to-signup rate: low numbers usually mean the landing page doesn't mention the offer.
- Review queue size: if it grows, revisit your fraud threshold.
- Unlocked but unpaid: rewards people are waiting for. Pay them promptly to keep trust.
